Prof. Hesham Abusaimeh is an academic and leader in the fields of computer science and university administration. With an impressive 18 years of experience in teaching and academic leadership, He is the Dean of Arts, Science, IT, and Communication at the University of Kalba, Sharjah, UAE. He has been a driving force behind innovative educational initiatives that embrace the ever-evolving world of technology and creativity. Prof. Abusaimeh is also a professor of computer science program at the University of Kalba, UAE. He is also senior IEEE member since 2008. Prof. Abusaimeh received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. Degrees both in computer science from Applied Science University and New York Institute of Technology respectively. Prof. Abusaimeh has obtained his Ph.D. from Loughborough University in the UK in 2009 from the computer science department, his Ph.D. thesis entitled “ Energy-aware routing protocols in Wireless Sensor Networks”.
Prof. Abusaimeh was running a funded project in smart grid and cyber security from the European union that has finished in July 2021.
Prof. Abusaimeh has led strategic planning committees and the international accreditation AACSB and ABET of the Business and IT Faculties at former institutions.
