His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qassimi, Member of the Supreme Council, Ruler of Sharjah, and President of the University of Kalba, chaired the Third Board of Trustees meeting of the University of Kalba, held on the university campus.
The Board discussed a range of agenda items focused on establishing and enhancing educational facilities, as well as overseeing the academic progress of the university.
The Board approved the appointment of Professor Hassan Selim as Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs. It also ratified the annual budget of the university, aimed at advancing academic curricula, infrastructure, and facilities, thereby fostering an inspiring and supportive academic and training environment for students.
Additionally, the Board of Trustees approved the launch of the EmSAT Center at the University of Kalba, designed to meet the highest technical standards and educational requirements. Equipped with 103 computers, the center accommodates the academic needs of students within and beyond the city seeking to take EmSAT exams.
