To strengthen academic and research ties, a delegation from the University of Kalba visited Loughborough University in the United Kingdom to explore avenues for joint collaboration.
The delegation, led by H.E. Professor Najwa Alhosani, Chancellor of the University of Kalba, included Professor Hassan M. Selim, Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs; Professor George Nassis, Dean of the College of Sports Sciences; and Ms. Meirah Shareif, Administrative Assistant in the Chancellor’s Office.
The team was formally received by Professor Nick Jennings, Vice-Chancellor and President of Loughborough University, along with senior university officials. Discussions focused on leveraging the strengths of both institutions, Special emphasis was placed on Loughborough University's globally recognized expertise in sports sciences, with both parties exploring mechanisms for collaboration in the near future.
This visit reflects the University of Kalba’s commitment to enhancing international academic relations and fostering knowledge exchange in higher education. By promoting academic development across cultures, the university aims to achieve research excellence and establish impactful global partnerships.
