The University of Kalba received a delegation from the Sharjah Private Education Authority (SPEA) as part of efforts to strengthen institutional partnerships and expand areas of mutual cooperation, contributing to the support of educational initiatives and the preparation of national competencies capable of meeting the requirements of development and the labor market.
During the meeting, the Authority's delegation presented the "Teacher and Proud" initiative, which aims to highlight inspiring educational models and enhance the status of teachers and their pivotal role in building future generations. The objectives of the initiative, participation mechanisms, and the opportunities it provides to support distinguished educational practices and promote a culture of appreciation for the teaching profession were also discussed.
The two sides also explored opportunities for collaboration between the Sharjah Private Education Authority and the College of Sport Sciences and the College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Kalba. Such collaboration would contribute to the development of programs and activities of mutual interest, while enhancing student participation in quality initiatives that foster their professional and personal development and broaden their practical experience.
