The University of Kalba has signed a landmark partnership and cooperation agreement with the global company Ellucian, marking the first of its kind in the United Arab Emirates. The signing ceremony was attended by Professor Najwa Al-Hosani, the university's chancellor, and Dr. Laura Ipsen, the president and CEO of Ellucian. Ellucian is the top international provider of higher education cloud-based platforms, UKB started implementing Ellucian Banner which powers colleges and universities with an integrated platform designed to simplify everyday processes.
This agreement aims to enhance the quality of education at the university and improve academic performance through the implementation of Ellucian's technological solutions. It will provide tools and resources to support scientific research, student information, administration processes, and innovative teaching and learning, while also modernizing the university's systems to align with the latest global technologies.
The event was also attended by Professor Hassan Selim, Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, Dr. Ali Al-Zaabi, Chancellor’s Assistant for Community Affairs, and various deans from the University of Kalba, along with representatives from Ellucian. This collaboration underscores the university's commitment to partnering with global entities to advance educational standards and technological development.
