Welcome to the College of Business Administration at the University of Kalba.
Business is being reshaped by artificial intelligence, digital transformation, sustainability, entrepreneurship, and changing expectations of work. Business education must evolve with it. Our ambition is not simply to prepare students for this changing world, but to prepare them to help shape it.
As part of a young and ambitious University, our College has a unique opportunity to rethink what business education should deliver. Aligned with the University of Kalba’s vision and strategic direction, we aim to build a College where academic knowledge connects with practice, technology strengthens human judgement, research addresses meaningful challenges, and education creates value beyond the classroom.
Our students are at the heart of this vision. We want them to graduate with more than a degree. They should leave with the ability to think critically, solve complex problems, work with emerging technologies, create opportunities, and lead responsibly. This ambition is captured in our College Promise:
“Every graduate leaves with evidence of what they can do, not only what they know.”
Delivering on this promise requires learning that connects students with real organisations, entrepreneurs, industries, government, and communities, giving them meaningful opportunities to apply what they learn and demonstrate what they can do.
Our location in Kalba gives this mission particular meaning. As Kalba and the Eastern Region continue to develop, the College should not simply observe that transformation; we should contribute to it. Through education, research, entrepreneurship, and partnerships, we aspire to actively contribute to economic and community development while connecting our students and faculty to opportunities across the UAE and internationally.
Being a young College is one of our greatest opportunities. We can build rather than simply inherit, innovate rather than imitate, and help define what a business school designed for the future should become.
Our direction is clear: to build a College recognised not simply for the programmes it offers, but for the impact it creates through its students, its research, its partnerships, and the communities it serves.
