Best practices and initiatives would be applied to build a true community partnership that keeps pace with the process of sustainable development and effective promotion at the highest and sophisticated levels of service and institutional excellence in accordance with the vision and mission of the university in this context and establish a community partnership for the University of Kalba with the community to enhance its scientific and societal standing.

Public Relations Department

Public Relations Department is one of the primary departments at the University of Kalba. It is an essential coordination unit for communication between the university and all segments of society, whether internally, including students, faculty members and employees, or externally with the local public and external stakeholders. Its key function is to manage effective communication to enhance the university’s position and its vital and cultural reputation at the local and international levels. The department organizes and manages the university participation in official and public events. This contributes to achieving goals and enhancing awareness that supports the university presence and excellence on all occasions, and building bridges of cooperation that contribute to introducing the university’s vision and mission.

Public Relations Department seeks to strengthen relations between the university and the local community, and boost strategic partnerships with relevant institutes and entities by organizing university and community events. In doing so, Public Relation Department plays a vital role in building a positive, sustainable image of the university and enhancing its position as a distinguished educational and community center and an effective contributor to social and cultural development.

Goals
  1. Establish a proper intellectual image of the university.
  2. Build mutual trust between the Public Relation Department and the internal public, including departments, centers, and colleges, and spread a positive culture among employees.
  3. Promote the use of global technologies in implementing tasks and encourage self-development.
  4. Assist the university in implementing its policies towards the internal and external public to achieve its goals through explaining all policies, plans and directives.
  5. Sign agreements with relevant governmental and private institutes, which achieves benefits that serve all parties.
  6. Cooperate with governmental and private institutes in the community, educational and cultural fields in order to organize joint events.
  7. Prepare statistics for the events and programs held inside and outside the university with various departments and institutes, and also provide the relevant institutions, within the community, with accurate facts, statistics, and data.
  8. Attract skilled and competent people to contribute to developing work within the university in order to achieve the goals and contribute to the success of the strategy.
Media Department:

Media Department is responsible for disseminating important news and information about the university, either through traditional or digital media, which provides reliable and transparent sources of information. It is also responsible for making organizational arrangements and providing information and data about the university and its current and upcoming services. The vision of the media center aims to be a vital link between the university, the external community, and media organizations.

Goals
  1. Strengthen media communication between the university and external community, and introduce the university cultural, research and social mission, which enhances the center prominent role in conveying the university image to the external community.
  2. Comprehensive coverage of all internal and external university activities.
  3. Archive all internal news of the university and news of official external channels to write a news report.
