Position Title: Assistant Professor in Public Law(Administrative Law /Constitutional Law)
Job Description:
The College of Law at the University of Kalba is seeking to appoint an Assistant Professor in Public Law to deliver high-quality academic instruction in the field of Public Law, with a particular focus on Administrative Law and Constitutional Law. The successful candidate will contribute to the advancement of legal knowledge through scholarly research and active participation in academic activities and community service, in alignment with the vision and mission of the College and the University.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver courses in both administrative and constitutional law at both undergraduate and graduate level.
- Employing innovative and effective teaching methods to engage and inspire students.
- Contribute to curriculum development and enhancements within the department.
- Publishing research in respected academic journals and presenting at conferences.
- Maintain active involvement in professional organizations related to law.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to students pursuing careers in law.
- Contribute to departmental and university service through committee participation, academic advising, and other activities.
- Adhere to confidentiality and other ethical standards.
- Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary initiatives and engage in community outreach.
- Commit to ongoing professional development and staying current with advancements in the relevant field.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Hold a Ph.D. degree in administrative law or constitutional law
- Demonstrate expertise and a strong research track record, evidenced by publications in reputable academic journals.
- Possess experience in teaching administrative law /constitutional law.
- Exhibit excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, students, and external stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines for course preparation, grading, and administrative tasks.
- Proficiency in both Arabic and English languages is required. The short listed candidate will be interviewed in both Arabic and English languages.
