Position Summary:
University of Kalba is seeking a highly qualified and motivated dynamic, strategic, and innovative Assistant Professor in Business administration with a strong background in immersive learning, particularly through the use of virtual reality (VR) and emerging educational technologies. The ideal candidate will contribute to our academic community by enhancing our curriculum, engaging students in transformative learning experiences, and conducting impactful research in the field of business education
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver undergraduate and graduate courses in Business Administration, incorporating immersive learning techniques using VR and other emerging technologies.
- Develop innovative course materials and assessments that leverage technology to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
- Mentor students in their academic and professional development, fostering a collaborative learning environment.
- Participate actively in departmental meetings, committees, and university events to support the mission of UKB.
- Collaborate with colleagues across disciplines to promote interdisciplinary approaches to business education.
- Engage with industry partners to develop real-world applications of immersive learning technologies in business contexts.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Ph.D. or equivalent terminal degree in Business Administration, Educational Technology, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in teaching at the college level, with a focus on innovative pedagogical approaches.
- Proven expertise in the use of virtual reality and emerging technologies for immersive learning experiences.
- A record of scholarly research and publications related to business education or educational technology
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage students from diverse backgrounds.
- Proficiency in using educational technology tools and platforms for teaching and research purposes.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment
